60's Vibes...
28/01/2015
I am so very sorry about the lack of blog posts over the past few days! And I promise I haven't 'lost interest' or anything like that! I've actually bought a new camera and I'm waiting (impatiently) for my memory card to arrive! But considering its still yet to arrive on my door step I decided to do one last shoot using my phone yesterday (1. because I felt guilty for not posting and 2. because of how cute my outfit was - I just had to share it with you all!)
Okay so I know I promised not to buy anything else and simply just show you what I have in my wardrobe...
Well that promise still stands - But...
I was out 'shopping' on Monday (for work clothes I should add) when I stumbled across this amazing skirt (and several other items which I'll feature during the week... ps. I'm so sorry!) But I reckon when you hear how much it cost me you'll all be very very happy!
Coat - Zara - (Sold Out Online)
Top - Topshop - £38
Similar alternatives available at - Topshop
Skirt - Primark - £3
I found this skirt in the sale section of Primark and instantly fell in LOVE!
I'm not usually one to wear orange (especially considering what colour hair I have.. ) but after some deliberation and encouragement from Dominic I decided to try it on and to my delight it fit perfect and looked amazing!
(I feel as though I have just fallen out of a Twiggy photo shoot)
I've always had a slight obsession with Pussy Bow blouses and I picked this one up in Topshop a few months ago after staring wide eyed at it for several days - I think I liked it so much because of the colouring - surprisingly I'm not really that colourful with what I wear - I'm very much into earthy colours like green, burgundy, red, black navy etc so orange is sometimes just that step too far for me - but I'm trying to branch out my wardrobe colour palette and I think I'm on to a winner!
Shoes - Topshop (Sold Out Online)
Ps sorry about the state of my shoes - I'd had them on all day - and in this weather its impossible to keep them clean!
And a huge thankyou to Yasmin for been the best best friend ever and knowing me completely!
I'm planning a few more posts for this week and also praying that my memory card turns up, pray for me! I have some exciting posts lined up for the next few weeks including the launch of my Beauty Page! Which will feature the Tropic Lipstick that I am wearing in todays post!
Thankyou for your continued support and views - means the world
All my love

Jeans - Warehouse (Old)
As featured in my 'Misguided Love' post
Bag - Topshop - Sold Out Online
Featured in 'Whats in My Bag'
This was a very very rushed shoot because I was just on my way out to a gig - so apologies for my awkward face! (I was clearly having a 'bad face' day, and terrible hair day by looks of things!!)
(I will try my hardest to get better at this whole picture taking thingyy)
When I bought this jacket I knew where I was going to wear it straight away!
It makes the perfect throw on gig jacket, for all those people that go to gigs on a regular basis you will understand when I say there not the easiest things to dress for - you don't want to look over dressed or under dresses nor do you want to look like the 'try hard' girl in the corner either..
Finding a fun balance is very difficult not to mention time consuming, so when I saw this jacket I knew it was perfect - paired with dark navy jeans and a black tank how was I to go wrong!
So I mentioned that this was my outfit for a gig and if you follow me on instagram you'll know that the gig was actually last week (sorry for my slow blog post, which I promised you would be up over the weekend.. forgive me)
- therefore I ought to mention who I went to see...
The bands called Breeze, considering I'm fairly close to them I thought I might as well promote them slightly..
I've linked a little video below as well as their social media sites if you would like to check them out!
Definitely go and check them out!
Their next gig is on Saturday (24th Jan) in Leicester at
The Shed
(Now boys if thats not free publicising then I don't know what is - I expect a drink for this..)
A very sort but sweet post for you all, and slightly different to my usual ones!
I hope you liked it - and my face didn't offend you too much

Winter Days in January...
20/01/2015
I just could not wait for the weather to warm up before I wore this jacket! So on one of the coldest days of the year so far, I used one of my all times fav winter tricks - layering!
And braved the cold!
Jacket - Zara (Out of Stock Online)
Turtle Neck - H&M (Last season)
Similar version available at - Topshop
Shoes - Topshop (Out of Stock Online)
Scarf - Warehouse (Old)
Bag - B&M (I know right!!)
So I clearly have to mention this hat - although I have no words to describe just how beautiful it is I had to acknowledge its significant presence!
I love the brand that much that me and my sister Chanel actually own the navy one as well and I would recommend them to everyone!
So definitely check out the
Amelia Jane London website
and their range of scarfs and pom pom keychains!
I promise you will not be disappointed!
Okay so lets talk about the bag, I fell in love with this bag as soon as I saw it and it was £1.99! I mean if thats not a steal then I don't know what is! It is literally the best £1.99 I have ever spent and it was from B&M!!
Its fabulous quality for the price and lets appreciate how eye catching it is! Also it will fit everything in it for when I go back to Uni - bonus!
I hope you liked this outfit and my stupid face on most of these photos (I'm incapable of taking serious photos so I eventually gave up completely)
Keep your eyes peeled for more!
And thank you for viewing, it still surprises me that you're all loving this as much as I am!
All my love

Whats in My Bag?...
19/01/2015
What do women carry in their bags or purses? We tend to use huge bags for only a selected few items - usually our phones and an old mashed up Mac lipstick..
So today whilst I was filling my bag with the usual bits and bobs I carry around with me on a daily basis I decided it would make a perfect blog post,
you'll be able to see some of my favourite makeup pieces and maybe learn a bit more about who I am as a person,
because I believe you can tell a lot from a girls bag...
Okay so lets start with the bag itself! I love love love this little beauty so much! Its simple and classy AND fabulous!
It literally goes with everything and is the perfect size for all those girly things you need to carry around!
Another aspect of this bag that I love is the little engraved Topshop label at the top - I just adored this little added detail and I think Topshop should do it more often!
(This item is also available in black but is currently out of stock)
So we'll start with the bits of makeup that I had in my bag today - depending on what type of makeup I'm going for on that day this selection may vary, but generally I always have a lipstick (or two or three) my Naked Flushed palette and my hair brush
(the wind is a pain and a hair brush is always needed)
I've also started using the 'Mini' deodorants and body sprays - not only are they adorable! But also the best things to carry around in your bag to freshen up throughout the day,
and did I mention how adorable they are?!
Hair Brush - Lee Stafford
I received this beautiful Ted Baker purse as a Christmas present and I can not get over how perfect the colour is! And of course how incredible the purse actually is not only is is made fantastically the attention to detail is impeccable, I purchased a purse from River Island in the summer as I had heard really good comments about them, but unfortunately I had to exchange it as faulty only a few weeks after purchasing it, for my new one to break only a few weeks after!
So finally owning a purse which is really strong and made out of material that will last is a dream come true - and I could not have asked for a better present!
So if you know me you are aware of how terrible my eye sight is! So last summer I finally invested in a nice pair of Rayban glasses
(and maybe some sunglasses as well - I couldn't help myself..)
I've realised just how terrible my eyesight is when I'm not wearing my glasses! But now I'm no longer squinting to see the TV or the cinema screen (I still sometimes struggle on through the day without them though...)
These glasses never ever leave my bag, unless they are on my face, and also Bethany if you are reading this I am coming for my glasses case - I am fed up of using my sunglasses case!!
This is my diary, if you are anything like me you will understand how easy it is to forget about important things; birthdays, driving lessons, that hair dressers appointment that you booked 6 weeks ago? I forget everything and without this little book I would be lost! This also comes with me everywhere!
I buy my diaries from WHSmiths each year because of how pretty the designs always seem to be! Unfortunately the one I have is no longer available online but there are still several ones available at
So thats what I had in my bag today!
(Due to my recent nail obsession I also cary a nail file and because of the weather I also always have a hat handy!
(simply because the weather is crazy, and it definitely was snowing when I was writing this - so I carry a hat for good reasons, for one my ears get really really cold!)
Whilst I was writing this I also thought it was a good idea to show you some little snapshots of todays outfit!
The photos were taken fairly quickly because it was absolutely freezing outside!
The top I am wearing was featured on my last blog which I bought from Miss Selfridge!
Coat - Old
Top - Miss Selfridge - £30 down to £5
Jeans - Warehouse £15 (sale price)
Shoes - Primark £12
Bag - Topshop - £40
I'm hoping to get a few more posts together this week including pictures of my gig outfit from Thursday so keep your eyes peeled!
Thanks for the support and a huge thank you to Dominic and Yasmin for not giving up on me when I had almost given up on myself - I love you
All my love

I hope you enjoy our little outtakes below xx
Outfit..
16/01/2015
I may have gone on a bit of a spree at work, I didn't mean too it just kind of happened you know like those days were everything just catches your eye and you can't stop?
Just me, yeah probably just me..
Just me, yeah probably just me..
So I'll begin with Miss Selfridge
(or Miss S as my fellow outfitters will know it by)
So I wasn't sure about this top at first but after trying it on I was sold! I'm not usually one for boxy tops, especially considering its leather! But I just could not resist the pattern and the colouring!
- Also for anyone who is into co-ords at the minute there is a fabulous leather skirt to match this top!
Unfortunately I looked like a I should of arrived on a motor bike in order to pull it off.. not exactly the 'different' look I was going for
I was in Leeds just before christmas and I spotted someone in Miss Selfridge wearing a top like the one above under a fur gilet and it looked amazing! So as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it, paired with my Topshop Mom jeans it will look fab!
I also have a slight thing for burgundy, it will become very apparent through the course of my blog!
I have never seen such a perfect clutch bag before!
I don't think it could be anymore girly then it is and I am so excited to pair it with my Boohoo playsuit on Saturday night!
Because every outfit needs a little 'Sparkle'
My obsession for turtle necks is growing and growing I just can't get enough of them! I love how simplistic they look but also how fabulous they can make an outfit at the same time!
There especially good at the minute when the weather is so cold outside, as they are the perfect layering piece!
So a fabulous best friend of mine bought me some sparkly shoes from Topshop for christmas so when I saw the velvet ones go down to £10 I just couldn't say no
(especially when Topshop only had one size 6 left!)
I can not praise them highly enough, they are so comfortable! Something that I love when it comes to shoes!
(the shoe god was clearly watching over me this time)
Another thing I love about them is how tiny my feet look when I wear them! The look so cute!!!
Last but not least we have
From my experience I seem to find that young people are always a bit sceptical when it comes to shopping brands such as Oasis and Warehouse but I always find amazing things, this is one of the many benefits of working in Outfit, there two brands are not really the types of shops I would enter on the high street but having it all under one roof makes is so much more accessible!
Don't get me wrong its sometimes a bit pricey but whenever there is a sale you are almost always guaranteed a bargain!
So I bought the trousers on the left for a fabby £10! I'm not usually one for bright, patterned trousers but obviously the burgundy colour drew me in and when I tried them on the fit was perfect, so clearly I was sold (I may need a little help with my will power).
I'm aiming to find a top to go with these for a party that I'm going to at the end of the month, so keep your fingers crossed for me, and I'll keep you informed on my progress!
So thats it!
I now will try my very very best to focus on what is in my wardrobe as hard as that is for me I will try!
(Apart from the top we just discussed above to go with those lovely oasis trousers) (then I'll stop...)
I would like to say a huge huge thank you to everyone who has viewed my blog over the last couple of days as I reached my 1000 view target quicker then I expected! I am so grateful that you have taken some time to read my little blog and hope you carry on enjoying it as much as I am!
All my love
