Autumnal Florals...
23/10/2015
Autumn colours are simply my favourite, I think it's because given my hair colour I only really suite dark tones; khaki, rust, navy, olive, purples, black etc so I always find myself really struggling with what to wear in Summer but as soon as A/W comes I really am in my element and this dress is the perfect example of this!
A fur gillet is always an easy Autumn cover up - especially at the minute when the weather is so unpredictable!
One minute I'm boiling the next I'm freezing but with a gillet I win both ways - simple!
Gillet - Topshop
Dress - H&M
Shoes - Zara
Bag - Next (Out of stock)
I absolutely love these shoes - and I practically chased someone around Zara for them...
But in typical Paris fashion they have murdered my feet/legs - actually not so much my feet just my legs! The straps around my legs have just rubbed huge holes into my skin *cry cry cry*
I'm still working on a way to wear them without having to bandage up my leg for a week afterwards
The detailing on this dress is just unbelievable - especially the tie in the middle! And it was only £14.99, can we have a round of applause please! It was also from my favourite high street store at the minute that is - H&M!
Dressed up or down this amazing dress will be gracing my body several times this A/W!
All my love

Student Styling...
20/10/2015
In true student fashion I have produced this post two days over schedule.. But at the minute I am struggling to find time to breathe..
Juggling 5 days a week in an office, paired with a massive work load, my own employment trying to maintain a blog, have a social life, all whilst trying to get through every episode of True Blood all at the same time, is starting to get on top of me slightly
I will never ever be one of those people can get up at the crack of dawn, still look fresh faced and run until midnight
I need my beauty sleep or you do not want to face me
- ask Dominic
I'm not someone that gives up though, - so I will be fine
- I think
I'm almost definitely certain this skirt makes me look really wide.. But I love it nonetheless
In typical student style I have paired it with my trusty backpack, a versatile black turtle neck and my fabulous over knee boots which are yet to leave my feet!
Honestly the best thing I bought last year!
Any suggestions on what I should do with my hair?
I'm a bit bored - send me suggestions!
Skirt - Topshop
Top - Topshop
Jacket - Topshop (Similar)
Boots - Topshop (Similar)
Bag - Grafea
I swear I didn't purposely wear all Topshop on this post..
Can we tell I work there and I buy the majority of my clothes when at work?
Oopps
Little out take picture - apparently the hat ruined everything, not sure if I agree but the majority has voted hence they have been axed..

Autumn Leafs and Capes
16/10/2015
Autumn has truly sprung and this is my take on a somewhat sporty look featuring the Converse I literally hunted down!
And this beautiful cape I bought last week!
My usual go to outfits are overly dressed up and somewhat over the top and if I'm not wearing heels then there must be something wrong... Or on the flip side I must have fabulous new flats that I need to show off...
I definitely do have flats on that need showing off with this outfit
Sparkly black converse? Even for a girl who loves heels I couldn't say no
Cape - Apricot
Jeans - Topshop
Top - Similar @ F&F
Shoes - Converse @ Schuh
Bag - H&M - Similar
Hat - Topshop
Sunglasses - Moschino
With the cold comes new opportunities to try new trends and push the boundaries, for me A/W will forever mean layering - but layering isn't for the faint hearted get it wrong and you may look terrible, get it right and you will be hitting all the latest trends!
It is no secret that the turtle neck is back, they filtered in very slightly last year but this Autumn they can be found in every store on the high street and you can get them in almost every single colour now
I remember buying one a couple of years ago and everyone thinking I'd lost my mind - clearly I hadn't..
So this cape is from Apricot a brand we stock in Outfit, at £22 I thought it was perfect to transition through into winter and the perfect go to piece for those cold days!
My favourite part of this cape is the high collar - practical, warm and I finally have a collar high enough to warm my nose
All my love
as always

Over Knees and Dresses...
13/10/2015
Autumn will forever be my favourite season and this autumn really is proving to be one of the best - not only are the trends on point at the minute but the weather isn't too shabby either meaning I'm able to pair fabulous dresses with these fabulous boots
and that makes me mega excited!
My go to bag for this look is my beautiful cream fringed leather bag from Next - it was a birthday gift and I am still in love with it 2 months on! It is simply the perfect size, colour and style for everyday use and it is really easy to transition to night simply remove the strap and you have a oversized clutch bag!
It's also available in black and I was mega tempted to buy that one as well but I stopped myself - are you proud?
So this is currently my favourite dress! It was £14.99 and is absolutely beautiful! The detail at the top with all the buttons and the sleeves are unbelievable for the price not to mention the vibrant pattern!
One thing I do have to say is that them buttons are a complete pain when you have long nails! It took me a good 10 minutes to put it on...
One thing I do have to say is that them buttons are a complete pain when you have long nails! It took me a good 10 minutes to put it on...
Okay so let's talk about these boots! I think I am simply the envy of everyone at my work - sorry guys!
So I managed to get these amazing khaki suede boots for just £9...
I can't believe it either and may I add that was without my staff discount..
(I was too eager to buy them despite not having my staff card on me - which is an extreme rarity!)
By now you all probably hate me just as much as everyone does at Outfit but when I set out and started writing this blog this is exactly what I wanted to show! That with some luck and good bargain hunting skills you are able to shop for less!
One minor issue I had when I got these boots home was that they kept falling down.. Apparently knee high boots are only knee high when they don't actually fall to your ankles!
So amazingly the fold at the top of these boots isn't actually a fold at all, it's where I have a bobble wrapped round my leg holding the boots in place..
I'm a genius I know!
(Obviously until the bobbles snap.. but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!)
I know this is probably only a short term fix but £120 boots down to £9 weren't something I was going to give up when I knew I'd think of a way of fixing them!
Dress - H&M
Boots - Topshop (Last Season)
Bag - Next
Sunglasses - Rayban
It felt so good taking pictures and going back to been a blogger! It really is so much fun!
My schedule at the minute is a bit out of hand but I am trying to get about 3 blog posts a week done! I think that sounds reasonable - I'm almost certain these boots will make another appearance some time soon!
