Dungarees and Turtle Necks....

Spring is well and truly here! 
I am so so happy to see some Sun - although it makes taking blog photos almost impossible (nothing worse then taking a shoot and realising actually the sun was far too bright and all the picture are terrible - can you tell I'm still learning?) 

I was finally able to get Blue out of the garage - 
(Blue is my bicycle!) and I am so happy about it, biking is generally how I get from A - B throughout the Spring/Summer months - simple exercise and it feels so good to get outside when the Sun is shinning!

(I gave Dominic the camera a bit to early therefore he decided to take pictures of me before I was ready - hence some of the terrible images! 
I apologise)





I have been looking for a set of dungarees for ages! And I finally came across this navy pair in H&M and I knew instantly I had to take them home (also bought the black pair as well..) but at £15 each how could I not?!

HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THESE?
These are my beautiful Dr Martens bought by Dominic as a treat 
(I don't know what I did to deserve these but I'm not asking questions!) 
I absolutely adore these shoes so so much - I have a shoe addiction anyways so these are feeding that addiction fabulously 
I was never a Dr Marten kinda girl, nor did I ever expect that I would own a pair but I don't think I could have found a pair that fit my personality so much -

 If I was a shoe I would look like this

 I don't think I could love this bag any more then I do - Last year all I wanted was a bike and a Grafea bag and because I have the best boyfriend ever I got both for my birthday -


It is the perfect colour and size for University and I just love it whole heartedly - Can I have another one please? 

I have even managed to encourage Harrison to buy one - You're welcome Harr






(This photo just make me laugh, excuse the face, arm, posture, weirdness of this overall photo - but when looking back over 100 photos that Dom took I realised he hadn't taken a photo of the back of my outfit, barring the ones when I'm riding my bike, therefore this was the one we were left with - forgive me) 


This flip screen on my camera is the best thing ever!
It was movie night at Dom's house and my current obsession with Sweet Popcorn is out of hand 
- goodbye bikini bod...




But how I didn't fall doing this and riding my bike is beyond me - I clearly am very good at multitasking

Hi Spring...

How fabulous does it feel to finally be entering Spring! I am so excited to finally have some warmer weather and to ditch the layers! As much as I love layers I definitely do not want to be wearing them much longer! So as it is the first day of Spring I decided to bring you a very Spring/Summer inspired look - I was so so happy to finally have some Sun light in my blog pictures - without having to overly expose the pictures myself (lets admit - we're all guilty of doing it!)







I have been waiting months to wear this jacket in a blog post - I bought it last year from Oasis for £30 (down from £100!) from the Mollie King collection and last summer I definitely did wear it to death!
But I just love the colouring the style and the fit, it's absolutely perfect dressed up or down - it also came as a two piece with a matching skirt, which I didn't purchase but will forever regret! 
(If anyone sees one on eBay/Depop etc please give me a shout!) 


So the bag is one that I have also had for a very long time - I  purchased it from New Look for about £25 and because of the colouring I generally always use it when I'm wearing this jacket - just because it goes so well! And I love a bit of colour co-ordination!

Once again wearing these fab shoes from River Island all links are in my 'Sea Side Fun' post from a few weeks ago! 






So I bought these from Dorothy Perkins in Outfit for £8, I'm hoping they come back online soon but I have found some others which are almost identical! I love a good pair of sunglasses so I'll probably end up buying another 5 pairs this year as well as the 12 pairs I have at home..

Sunshine Yellow

So I'm currently loving the whole 60's/70's vibe that is filtering through into the shops!
Styles and cuts from both the 60's and 70's are more or less everywhere throughout the year anyways but at the minute I am seeing them more and more and I just love it! 
(Been a vintage geek this makes me very very happy!)

So I found this little dress whilst roaming around Primark a few weeks ago
(the return of the pussy bow, told you I had an obsession)

Boots - Schuh - £70 

You're all probably sick of seeing these boots by now due to the immense coverage they got from bloggers over the winter period but I have still completely in love with them, it took me about 3 weeks to actually locate a pair in my size and when I found them I bought them straight away and didn't take them off my feet for about a week! I wear them with absolutely everything, from jeans to tights and I'm looking forward to wearing them with a jumper dress and knee high socks (when the weather gets slightly warmer obviously!) 

The bag is one I've had for a couple of years now, but it never fails to carry all my books/Mac/camera etc inside it! (I'm expecting it to snap eventually and when that day comes I will be distraught!) 


I love the gold detailing and the DP logo - yes it is a Dorothy Perkins special! And if I remember correctly I think it cost me about £15! Its the perfect size and style therefore it makes it perfect for everyday! 

So the dress that I managed to find for an absolute bargain price instantly reminded me of a dress that I had seen in Topshop - if that pattern doesn't catch your eye then nothing will! 


 And modeled so fabulously by Cara whats not to like? 
But if you do love this as much as I'm sure you will - be sure to check your nearest Topshop store as I think its almost sold out! 
(Ps at Outfit we have 2 (I think) hanging on our Topshop Last Chance Stand!)

Although the pattern on the Topshop dress is unbelievable I personally preferred the cut of the Primark one, simply because I feel it works better paired with my knee high boots - very 70's 

You can clearly tell that I'm loving the 70's style at the minute, and I am currently on the look out for a cheap (cheap been the main word in this as I am now a big girl with a savings account and I have started saving for a car - finally) pair of flared jeans - so I will be heading to vintage shops and websites in search of that perfect pair over the next couple of weeks! If anyone finds any at a reasonable price (I am taking this saving money thing seriously - trust me) be sure to let me know!
